Health Services Staffs Credit Union - 1000 Trees — Cloudforests
Today we announce our CoolPartners who are starting their journey in our Beyond Cool Programme. Next up is Health Services Staffs Credit Union - CoolPartner 033 who are planting 1000 trees at our flagship Cloudforest 5 site in County Kerry.
The Health Services Staffs Credit Union is one of the largest and strongest credit unions in Ireland. HSSCU offers loans, savings, a current account, overdrafts, and more to Health Service staff, along with free online banking and insurance. They are a nationwide credit union that enables its members to do all of their business from home.

A Visit To Stepping Stone Forests
Yesterday, our CEO Bernard Pender & Head of Community, Alan O’Donovan took a trip to Tallaght to meet John Kiberd & Co from Stepping Stone Forests.
Stepping Stone Forests is a community-based project which aims to small, urban, densely planted woodland using native species of trees and shrubs (otherwise known as a “Stepping Stone Forest’). Due to the dense nature of the planting, the trees and shrubs grow very rapidly. This method is inspired by the work of world-renowned botanist Prof. Akira Miyawaki.
