We offer two membership tiers which allows small business owners, medium sized companies and multi-nationals support join us in a credible and transparent way.

Acorn membership

For organisations with up to 250 staff or who want a credible transparent connection to woodland creation and nature.

If you’re a small-to-medium sized business, you can sign up online now for CoolPartner membership for just €1200 ex VAT per year!

Fill in the form with your organisation’s details below and we’ll issue you with an invoice that can be paid by credit/debit card, direct debit or bank transfer. Once paid, we’ll set you up as a new CoolPartner.

From then on, for as long as you’re an Acorn CoolPartner, you’ll be included in our annual community carbon share, and your membership fee will help fund tree planting at scale in our forest sites across Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

Your membership will be renewed and invoiced every year until you notify us to cancel. Check out the terms and conditions here.

Oak membership

For organisations with over 250 staff who also want hands-on involvement in projects for their staff and customers.

Suitable for larger businesses and those who want hands-on involvement with our projects.

You may be interested in funding additional tree planting and carbon allocations specifically for your organisation, volunteer opportunities for your staff, or even creating your own forest!

As long as you’re an Oak CoolPartner, you’ll be notified first about any volunteer days, special projects, podcast opportunities, as well as being included in our community carbon share. Your membership fee will help fund tree planting at scale in our forest sites across Ireland.

Get in touch with us to discuss options suited to your goals and budget. The first step is to complete our sign up form and we will then arrange a one to one online with our founder to discuss your wants and needs and how we can best support your sustainability goals.

So what next?

  1. After you’ve completed your membership form and your payment has been received, we’ll send you your membership certificate and digital badges for your website or email signatures. Some partners even use our logos on their fleet, to show off their green credentials!

  2. Send us your company logo, and we’ll also list your organisation on our CoolPartner page, with a link to your website.

  3. We’ll add you to our regular newsletters to keep you up to date on our projects. Let us know if there’s other employees such as Sustainability Officers or Internal Comms team who should also receive those updates, to share with all your employees!

Payment FAQs

  • You’ll receive an email with an invoice for your first year's membership.

    This can then be paid by credit or debit card, by direct bank transfer, or as a direct debit or standing order through GoCardless.

  • Unfortunately not.

    To ensure your membership goes towards what's really important - reforestation projects to cool the planet and help fight global warming - we try to reduce as many administration costs and processes as possible.

    So our membership is now a simple sign-up with an annual invoice paid upfront to reduce unnecessary administration and transaction fees.

  • Yes, if you wish to. Your membership is renewed annually until you decide otherwise - so if you wish to cancel your membership, just let us know before the renewal date.

    Your CoolPartner membership will then expire on your renewal date.

    Please note, we do not issue refunds for partial years.

  • No, there’s no lengthy contracts for your membership - we simply divide our carbon sequestration figures between the active CoolPartners each summer.

    So if you decide at any point you no longer want to be a CoolPartner, you can just cancel your payment subscription and we’ll reallocate your share of the carbon savings between our other members going forward.

  • Your membership fee goes towards our reforestation and nature-based projects, funding forest creation along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.

    Each summer, we release our Impact Report that lists all of the active partners and the impact our projects have had to date, for you to plug into your own reports.

    As a member, you will receive an annual certificate outlining the total number of trees planted to date, and the Cloudforests CoolPartner community's estimated carbon sequestration figure for the year.

    You also have use of marketing collateral and exclusive content from our forest locations.

    CoolPartners who have Oak memberships will also be invited to take part in planned events and volunteering days.

  • Yes, absolutely!

    If you have a budget allocated to green projects, we can talk with you about sponsoring individual projects within our sites.

    Examples of additional projects we've done in the past include:

    • A wildflower meadow in Cloudforest Four

    • An Orchard and our Gift Tree Grove in Cloudforest One

    • Our work with NIHBS beekeepers to conserve the Irish Honey Bee population by safeguarding hives and habitat within our sites.

    • Large tree bundles on Cloudforest Five.

    We're working on some exciting projects at the moment, such as ponds and monitored kestrel boxes - so let us know if you'd like your business to get involved!

  • There will be! We're working on this at the moment.

    Once that's up and running, we'll give you access to the member's area.

    In there, you'll find exclusive content from our forests, marketing collateral, and we're hoping very soon, to add a member's marketplace where the CoolPartners can offer each other exclusive discounts on their own products, or partner up with each other!
