We also offer financial support to a variety of community based organisations through the MFCU Community Fund – funding initiatives like Tidy Towns and Community Gardens. Our partnership with Cloudforests is our latest step in this climate action journey. We are delighted to support the Cloudforests mission as CoolPartner #056.”
Cloudforest Milestones
In November 2023, Member First CU turned up in force to support us planting an urban forest in Donabate Community College in North County Dublin
A huge welcome to MFCU, partnering with us to create forests for the planet, for nature and for people, along Ireland's Wild Atlantic way
We're delighted that to continue partnering with MFCU throughout 2024 as we focus on carbon sequestration and creating havens for biodiversity within Ireland
In February 2024, MFCU got stuck in along students, helping to plant 420 native Irish trees in Scoil Fhursa in Dublin 17.
MFCU joined us in St David's College in Artane in August 2024 for a spot of urban forest maintenance. They even rescued our tea break by bringing the milk!!
