Cloudforests Endurance Team (The End Team) has today announced their brand new rider, Ruth Brooks.
Ruth's cycling journey didn't begin until late 2016 when a friend took her mountain biking and she was instantly hooked.

The Alder Tree (Alnus glutinosa) is a native Irish tree, which has quite a history in Irish Folklore and History. It even has played a role in the naming of a number of Irish towns and villages. For example, Ballyfarnon (Béal Átha Fearnáin) in Country Roscommon translates to Mouth of the Ford of the Alder, and County Wexford, the town of Ferns comes from the Irish Word; Fearna (Alder Trees).

END Team - 2021 Review
In 2021, our team leader, Paul, took part and won the Wild Mayo Ultra 650 race and also completed the entire Wicklow Way out and back in the fastest known time of 20 hours unsupported.

Cloud Forest Endurance Team - 2021 Update
We have big plans for our Cloudforest teams next year. One of the big successes of 2021 was our Endurance Team led by Paul Caldwell. The team is going to be taking part in some amazing events next year and will bring the Cloudforests message to a whole new audience when they take part in the Highland Trail 550. A huge focus of the Team in 2022 will be to promote sustainability through cycling.
