Together with our CoolPartners, we are creating a native Irish woodland for the planet at Cloudforest Four. We’ll also be creating wildflower meadows and ponds here.

Varied Habitats
Originally designated as a Sitka Spruce plantation, we were delighted to be able to change the approval for this site to native woodland.
In March 2024, we planted over 15,000 native Irish trees, plus a small amount of Sitka mixed with Alder in the areas deemed unsuitable for native woodland.
We’re busy working on establishing a wildflower meadow in the cattle-trodden front field, and we’re in the early stages of planning the addition of ponds to suitable areas of the site.
