  • Conservation

Cloudforest Five is home to another family of native Irish honey bees, expertly tended to by beekeeper John who is the Conservation Area Officer for the Native Irish Honey bee Society (NIHBS).

We are working with John and the NIHBS beekeepers to ensure our Cloudforest sites are suitable for them to use as conservation areas for protecting and increasing the native Irish honey bee population. See our bee blogs for more info on this work!
