Pioneer Fire & Security Announced as CoolPartner 025

Today we are 025. A very big welcome to Pioneer Security who join our CoolPartner community today 03.02.22 .

Pioneer Fire & Security was established in 1983 and since then has grown to be one of the largest Fire & Security providers in Ireland, predominately operating in the Commercial & Corporate sectors. With a fleet of over 50 vehicles, our carbon footprint is something we have always been conscious of and in recent years we have been taking as many steps as possible to reduce this footprint. One of these steps included changing as many of our vehicles to fully electric alternatives as logistically possible, today, we are proud to report that nearly half of our fleet is fully electric. As the capabilities of electric vehicles increase in the coming years, we hope to transition more of the fleet to greener alternatives. Commenting on joining the CoolPartner community, Richard Whelan, Operations Director of Pioneer Fire & Security stated: “Having recently learned that Ireland is counted amongst the list of countries with the lowest % of land covered in woodland within Europe, we were shocked & motivated to find how we could help. Having read about Cloudforests and the work that has been done, and the plans for the future, it was an obvious choice. We are excited to join the Cloudforests Community and are grateful for an opportunity to help in some way to restore Irelands natural forestry”
