Midsummer Ireland are CoolPartner 039 and have joined our Beyond Cool programme which facilitates CoolPartners who want to partner in large afforestation projects with us, conservation with bees, bats, bird and frogs and create specific sustainability plans for their business. A big thank you to Paul Roberts for your incredible support to kick start this.

This forest which is being established as a mixed native woodland will evolve over time into an Atlantic Temperate Rainforest and features over 18,000 trees which a species mix including Rowan, Downey birch, Oak, Scots Pine and holly. The site sweeps down to the Atlantic Ocean at Mountoven on the Dingle Peninsula. Other CoolPartners establishing this site with us include IMS - Integrated Media Solutions My Irish Cousin, Secure Logiq and the Health Services Staffs Credit Union

As part of our bee conservation efforts we will also establish the first of our Robo-Hives ( internet connected) at the site through our partnership with the NIHBS Native Irish Honeybee Society. These hives will be created with hive health technology, HD video and analytics to monitor the growth and establishment. A very big thank you to John Greenaway from the society for all your help and time to make this happen.
