TimeLapse Video Cloudforest One

A little explanation of timelapse video

Time Lapse Video is a photography technique that captures a scene over a specific period of time and plays the sequence back at a faster speed. It records the changes of a scene over a period of time and compresses it into a video. With time lapse, you can capture events that would be too slow to observe in real time, like a flower blooming, a sunrise, or even the course of a day. Time lapse videos are an amazing way to capture the beauty of nature, the movement of the stars, or the hustle and bustle of a busy city. Time lapse videos are created when a series of photos are taken from the same spot over a period of time and then the images are compiled together to create a time lapse. The time that the photos are taken can range from hours to months, depending on the desired effect. The time lapse technique is used in many different ways. It can be used to make an interesting look at a scene over a period of time, to document a certain event or activity, or to simply speed up the passage of time. Time lapse videos can also be used to show an otherwise hidden perspective, like a time lapse of a busy street corner or a busy construction site. Time lapse videos are incredibly useful for filmmakers and photographers. It can be used to tell a story in a short amount of time or to show the passage of time in a creative way. Time lapse can also be used to create a stunning visual effect or to help make certain scenes more dynamic. No matter how it is used, time lapse videos are a great tool for capturing unique moments and creating powerful visuals.

Timelapse On Cloudforest One

Since we bought the site at Lahinch County Clare which has become Cloudforest One we have had a time lapse camera installed. The camera which is manufactured by our CoolPartner Axis Communications has recorded over two years of footage - with images captured every day to make up a two year video that only takes less than a minute to view. Check out the video below - remember we are only two years into this forest creation - I wonder what next years video will look like?

Check out our gift tree grove being planted

1000 trees - 45 seconds - has to be some sort of a world record. All trees are native irish trees and have been planted and supported by our CoolPartner community, private companies and people around the world. Also located on our first forest site at Lahinch.
