We are 035 - A very big welcome to Optosafe Ireland who joins our CoolPartner Community today, 28.04.22

Optosafe manufactures Solar powered CCTV towers and systems which are hired for construction projects nationwide. An incredible 90% of the Optosafe fleet of towers & systems are powered by Solar Power. These solar towers are completely powered by clean, emission-free renewable energy harnessed daily by converting the light from the sun to electricity and in turn power Optosafes’ security equipment all year round. Their systems are above-ground-mounted and do not require ducting, cables, or any other site enabling works that reduce cost but in turn, local habitat is not damaged. Optosafe believes in playing its part in reversing climate change and has worked tirelessly to build its technology with no need for Grid connection, Diesel, or Hydrogen 365 days a year.

Managing Director of Optosafe, Ed Mulligan commented on joining the CoolPartner Community by saying:

“At Optosafe we believe in playing our part in reversing climate change and made the decision in 2020 to build our Optosafe fleet with our planet at the heart of what we do. We understand that the production of our equipment including metalwork, cameras, and plastics has all had an environmental impact during the production and shipping phase. We endeavour to reuse all equipment from contract to contract to create a circular economy within our company reusing again and again.

Joining the CoolPartner Community is just another element of our drive to be part of the solution and we believe this is a great initiative to add to our effort. It is also nice knowing in 20/30 years' time we can have a miniature forest as a tangible representation of our efforts in fighting climate change.”
