Over 600 Native Irish Trees Planted 🌲🌳

1 Incredible Community

64 days ago, we brought the first cohort of our CoolPartners to Cloudforest Three in Doonaha County Clare, to allow them to plant their miniature Cloudforest with native Irish Trees, such as Alder, Oak & Birch.

Despite a few early showers and one or two mucky slips, the day was a resounding success and everyone had a great time. This is a testament to the community of businesses that we are building at Cloudforests. The CoolPartner community is full of brilliant people whom all share a common mission of planting 100 forests along the Wild Atlantic Way. This shared goal creates a sense of camaraderie and fellowship, which we think is evident in our blog below.

Special thanks to Neil from Hynesight Video Productions, who shot and edited our Planting Day Vlog. Neil is a local of Clare and being able to support such a brilliant local business was a privilege. He made the experience so straightforward and turned a long day of filming in less than ideal conditions into a brilliant finished product which we are incredibly proud of and happy with.

Also, a huge thank you to the team at the Armada Hotel. The Armada was the perfect HQ for our planting day as it allowed our Coolpartners to network and meet each other before the planting began. It also provided the perfect space in Johnny Burkes Bar to host our presentation ceremony after our planting. Everything, from the staff, to the food, was second to none. Big thank you to the support shown by John Burke from the Armada, and to Noralynne Murrihy for making sure our event ran as smoothly as it possibly could.

Finally, a special thank you to all of the CoolPartners who made the trip to Doonaha. Without you, none of this would have been possible. We hope you enjoy this video, which will hopefully act as a time capsule of what was a truly special day.
