Brennans Bread Joins our Urban Forests Programme

Today we are delighted to announce Brennans Bakeries as Impact Partner 003. Together we will create micro forests in Cities across Ireland. Our forests are densely planted biodiverse forests created using native Irish trees and shrubs on principles developed by the renowned botanist Akira Miyawaki #smallforests #bigimpacts
🍞 🥪 🌳 🌺
It was over fifty years ago Old Mr Brennan baked the first loaves of Brennans Bread in our one room bakery in Fumbally Lane, Dublin. We’re now one of the largest bakeries in Ireland and are still very much a family affair, with Old Mr Brennan’s family still overseeing the recipes and baking skills he perfected. Our motto is ‘Today’s Bread Today’ and that means the bread you see on the shop shelf every day will have left the bakery early that morning. 🍞 🌳

Sustainability is something we are very passionate about at Brennans and we want to play our part in helping to reduce our carbon footprint while also contributing towards a better, safer future for generations to come. So we are delighted to become “Impact Partners” and we hope to get involved in all of the good work they already do in helping to improve Irelands Biodiversity landscape for many years to come. 🌳 🍞

Today 19.05.23 we are delighted to welcome
Brennans Bakeries into our impact partner community enabling us to add more forests across Dublin City and beyond at Schools, Universities and local area recreational sites.
